The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) is about to close the booking window for the MRCPI OBG 2 Written September 2025 exam. Aspirants have only one week left to confirm their slots, as RCPI has announced that the booking window will close on July 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM Irish Time. If you haven’t confirmed your exam slot yet, there’s no time to wait. Here, we’ll cover the key points you need to note while booking your slots.

MRCPI OBG 2 Written Exam

Conducted purely via remote invigilation, MRCPI OBG 2 Written Exam tests your knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology and ensures you are fully prepared for the final clinical hurdle.

  • Exam Date: 4th September 2025
  • Expected Result Date: 3rd October 2025

Documents Required for Application

  1. Attested Copy of Your Primary Medical Degree
    • Only original parchment diploma copies are accepted,no
  2. Proof of Part I or Equivalent Qualification
    • For MRCOG Part I: Submit your official MRCOG Part I pass letter.
    • For FCPS or others: Submit the official parchment diploma , remember pass letters are not accepted.
  3. Completed Testimonial Form
    • The testimonial form must be filled and signed by two referees.
    • You can download the blank testimonial form from the RCPI website.
  4. Official English Translation (If Applicable)
    • If your degree is not in English, you must attach an official translation along with your degree.
    • Accepted translations must be prepared or authenticated by:
      • The issuing university or medical school
      • An Irish or British Consulate
      • Your embassy or High Commissioner

Who Can Attest Your Primary Medical Degree?

Your primary medical degree attestation is accepted from:

  • An Garda Síochána (Irish police force)
  • The issuing university or medical school
  • A solicitor, notary public, lawyer, or commissioner for oaths
  • An Irish or British Consulate
  • Your embassy or High Commissioner

Note: RCPI does not accept attestations by doctors.
