Please note that online applications open at 12 pm (Irish time) on the opening date and close at 5 pm (Irish time) on the closing date.
Eligibility criteria for MRCPI OBG Part 2 Written
You must meet one of the following eligibility criteria to sit for the MRCPI OBG Part 2 Written exam.
- MRCOG Part 1 (Note: MRCOG Part 1 exemption is not accepted)
- RCPI Professional Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (awarded from 2022 onwards)
- MRCPI Part 1 in General Medicine or Paediatrics (completed within the last six years)
- MRACOG (Australia)
- MRNZCOG (New Zealand)
- FCOG (South Africa)
- FCPS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Pakistan
- MRANZCOG
- MMed (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Malaysia (2008 onwards)
Additionally, you should have completed 18 months of post-registration training in recognised positions, with 9 months in obstetrics and 9 months in gynaecology. It is important to note that you must not have exceeded 6 attempts at the exam.
